  • @TheWarriorScholar - Instructor Johnny Kuo is in Lancaster, which I believe is a suburb of Philly. I think its about 40 minutes. Worth the trip.

  • any practicioners in Philladelphia PA?

  • i think the elbow trap was something that the Sifu showed us just once during a workshop. I've gotten a lot of comments that some people think that's dangerous because it exposes you to the risk of getting your fingers broken by the opponent.

I'd actually love to get Alex's 21 form dvd sometime to get some more ideas about applications since he shows so many variations of each posture.

  • Nice work, Ashe!

Alex says that sifu didn't show him such application of Whirl&Hook :) Thanx for an interesting idea!

  • every move has it's counter, and every counter has a counter. that's why you have to "change with the change". ;-)

  • Thanks for sharing. Nice flow and applications.

My Shidi once (or twice) caught my in a Qinna finger-bar when I pinned his elbow that way (1:15).
