i would think the plastics are to house the radiators and such from the sand maybe also wind protection for the rider? idk just my opinion. these bikes go hard for long distances.

a lot of them are either ktm or bmw. there are others, though.

i think its to hold the trail guide closer to the rider, especially when standing up. you dont want o have to look too far from the trial in front of you. i may be wrong, though.

i believe this video is a piece of history as the dakar will be held in south america next year it was my dream 2 compete in africa well ill have to dream on lol
