The 3rd album on Warners, All Fall Down (1982) was less well received at the time, but has subsequently proved itself a brilliant record. Lion's Mouth was just too hard an act to follow ! We have added 3 tracks from the original session which never made it onto the album ( the record company considered them not commercial enough ! ). Adrian and Wally Brill mixed them shortly before Adrian's death. Don't forget these have NEVER been heard before !

  • It's not Borland singing !

  • It is Borland singing but with his voice on effect. If you notice carefully the way he sings... There's only one person who sings like this. With this feeling.

  • @COUVELOMBARDA 1 year later I realise you should be right.

    May be I'm a bit slow ?

  • LOL

I can even see some resemblances to Nick Cave's voice.

Anyway, as you well said: "There's only one person who sings like this. With this feeling."

  • Weird! It is Adrian Borland, without a doubt ,but he sounds 20 years older.

  • Its definitely Adrian, but the tape's running too slow, you can tell by the gapping in the synth notes that it was not recorded at this speed. The tape was running faster during the recording, the pitch control probably got knocked a notch by accident.

  • Actually this is part of the "Dutch Radio Recording". Borland's voice was very deep from having the flu. When he first went on stage he said "I am so f**n ill!". This is mixed off the boards...sounds great.

  • Why why why wasn't this and As the Feeling Dies on the original album? They are amazing. Better than some of the weaker tracks that made it on to the album

  • It was the master tape speed, made a very interesting version !

  • Wow, awesome!

  • absolutely couvelombarda!!
