A-Mei from Taiwan is a world class singer and in my estimation, the best songstress in the Orient. This young lady is not far behind. I also like J.lim. I'm a big f(x) fan so I'm partial to Luna though I don't think she is in the same class as IU or J.lim depending 0n the material. Luna needs a tune she can really belt out to take advantage of her voice. There are so many talented young ladies singing in Korea and I've just started to discover them
Just amazing. My mum asks me, why do you listen to music with lyrics you don't understand? and I say, because music is heard through the ears, but understood by the heart, and the heart knows every language. I don't understand most of what she's saying, but it still gives me goose bumps every time! =)

French is only called the language of love because the sound of speaking it is very flowy and romantic. Other than that, expression of meaning is the same as most other language.
I think Asian languages in general express feelings and emotions more deeply and complexly.
When I look up the lyrics to Japanese/Korean songs, the english lyrics sound very complicated and deep and would sound odd if sung in english.. but in their respective languages it's normal.
