Ludwig talks about booking THE SHIELD and studying at the Beverly Hills Playhouse and Milton Katselas. He talks about how he has been working on tough, real, blue-collar guys and how doing scenes in class taught him a lot about that. His persistence turned a small part on The Shield into an eleven-episode part. He brought persistence and excitement to the set, to the character, to the writers. He says that it all came from the BHP. He says that he is good, but it was a matter of him believing that he was good enough to get out there and work consistently. For two years in Intermediate Class it was about believing in himself. He feels he is unstoppable and that the only one who can stop him is him, and he learned that here. Ludwig was fortunate to find out right after college that the Beverly Hills Playhouse was, without a doubt, the best school. Not only in terms of the acting training, but in terms of the community and the support and the administration to get work. No one teaches you quite like they do here. Over the past five years, he has booked professional work in film, television, theater, he started his own production company, and he met his girlfriend. He believes that all these great things have happened because he started studying at BHP. "And I've worked with so many amazing artists and had a lot of fun. A lot of fun."
