Al Pacino called this the favorite part of his own performance -- the cold strut after killing his brother-in-law. For more, check out my in-depth "Godfather" review: http://filmspectrum.org/?p=8951

  • Michael Corleone invented the "gangster" walk

  • BEST movie ever made, and this is one of my favorite moments, too. Pacino talked about the walk he gave Michael, like he was literally heavy, like he had rock in his pockets. He's a goddamn genius!

  • my family will FU** you up walk

  • can anyone tell me what is michael exactly wearing? I like it. I can tell it is a different attire by comparing it to the suit of his henchmen. It is thicker and somehow like a jacket. And the Hat too!! I wanna dress exactly like this.

  • Haters gon hate

  • Every baby needs to watch this video.. it's a must watch for new born baby to learn to do the strut!!

  • such a bad ass

  • @cmalone596 Agreed. I don't know why some critics and lots of fans of the book complained about the lack of backstory. I personally think that the book is good but it bounces back and forth between stories and that was harrowing to read because most of the backstories/side-stories weren't even interesting. Coppola adapted it with infinite perfection. The man knew how the film was going to transition from beginning to end.

  • BAMF

  • @nomibe2911 I disagree. I read the book, it's not better than the movie because it has too much added stuff in it that wasn't necessary, and I was interested in Michael and Kay's relationship way more than Sonny's affair with that girl and all her medical problems, and Johnny Fontane's family problems went on and on. Coppola took what was best from the book and left the rest out.

  • two words...Fucking Badass!
