While you are looking up a little, the stage is farther back from the front rows than most other shows, because there is a set of stairs leading up to the stage.
The New York Philharmonic is the same way: the most frontest orchestra rows are actually cheap seats. I think it's because you have to look up at the stage rather than see it at eye level.
Of course, if it's a matter of closer=better=pricier, then this show has got it wrong. You can be onstage for $31.25, the cheapest seats in the house, save student rush.
Very much! =)

Having now seen the show, I wouldn't want those seats under any circumstances. ;-)

first three rows are definetly not the best. they kill your neck. but that just my opinion.

For the frist time seeing the show, I wouldn't recommend on-stage seating either :)

Those seats get mixed reviews from a visual perspective (you see people's backs), but other have said the musical experience is incredible.
