We are all very disappointed about the sad state of affairs relating to the Phil Imbrogno Saga. I will always consider Phil a friend and hope that he will eventually resurface and explain how all this took place.

very disappointed that he lied about everything, even his undergraduate degrees. it's also not right that he pretended to be a veteran of the vietnam war, since so many good people died there.

We live in a society of credentials and degrees and the IVY League. I hope he can explain o the paranormal community why he felt the need to lie about his credentials. I suggest we not discard his work, which seems genuine and valid. People do senseless illogical things but we still need Phil to offer us his reasons for this.

@egyptianminor He should have been honest: he probably holds a BS from an undistinguished university, but something (insecurity?) got the best of him, but why do that , since it seems to have been so easy for anyone to check w/ MIT...I wonder if he'll come out w/ a statement towards the UFO/paranormal community...still I stick to my guns and say the Paraphysical hypothesis is as good - if not better - than the ETH.

Clinton & Lewinsky reloaded: sure it's bad & stupid of him lying about MIT, etc... but that doesn't mean the theories and cases in expounded in his books are false - he merely followed the same approach of serious researchers like John Keel, Trevor James Constable and Jacques Valleé (who's got a real PHd in science) - hence the Paraphysical (ultraterrestrial/interdimensi­onal) hypothesis still stands untouched, but of course 'skeptics' might say it's all quackery.
