ToneDr has an incredible post on this beautiful song by the Doobie Brothers, and then shared a tutorial!
Probably the most difficult song Ive tried in terms of playing and singing at the same time. This is what I got so far. Im still having trouble with THAT CHORD in the bridge. Not sure what possessed me to try the high part at the end, but you know, once I started I was committed. Lol

  • @annettenpaul - Thank you! A very cool comment. I've never played for $ or been in a studio. I watched your cover and enjoyed it as well, is that a karaokke track your singing with? (cuz it was tight!) IM me when you post your solo performance

  • @othercousin I was quite sincere. My cover was indeed with a karaoke track, thanks for checking it out.

  • Awesome man...Dobbie Bros are not easy to sing. You hit the notes and put feeling into your covers. Thumbs up man.

  • @scotontherocks

You're welcome. Not so mad really my friend...I can't learn anything without singing it thru as I go. ..heheh and sometimes his perfection is a bit intimidating to me, I sometimes learn as much watching average players trying to do it right. I've always thot that was a bit "mad"..

thanx for listening, glad you liked it
