Excerpt from "Tempus Fugit" (Italy 2005), a short by Angelo Serio with Isa Danieli.

Synopsis
An adult woman. A child. A chess-board. He searches. She waits. She is the guide. He is the pupil. A chess-game, placed in a time-space dimension that is not ours, with underneath meaning : a speeches competition between two kinds of ways of understanding and live the Time. In between the moves, the impatient child, taken by a sort of fear of wasted time, he restlessly walks, and he starts to build a tridimensional puzzle of the world, in the meanwhile the guide-woman takes all her time to make even the simpliest move.
The child would win the game and he will underlined with a sort of arrogance,
but the aim of the game it's much more important than that. And suddenly the lost of the game will take him by surprise putting him in front of a bitter reality.
