(Joe's p.o.v)
So Nick wouldnt even say anything, so i backed him up.
Joe- What nick is trying to say is that we--
(Allie comes out of the kitchen with sppetizers in her hand, while Joe was speaking. she went over to him and placed the appetizer on his plate)
I stopped talking because i was so distrated by the girl who was putting food on my plate. i was so lost. I dont know why, but she intrigued me so muc. We both stared into eachother's eyes.
Lucinda- Oh, Allie, could you get me a sparkling water?
we were both still focused on eachother.
Lucinda- ALLIE!
She snapped out of our gaze
Allie- yes Lucinda.
she walked back into the kitchen.
i wass till speechless like Nick at the moment.
Kevin- Whats wrong with you guys?
he sighed, very frustrated that no one was getting to the point.
Kevin- Look. what we're trying to say is...no offense to Miley and Taylor, but we dont need partners like them right now. We've had enough with--"
Lucinda- I object!
Mom- Me too!
kevin- But i didnt even get to--"
Mom- sweety! These girls could get you really far in life!
Kevin- we're already far in life mom!
As i watched Kevin argue, i felt Taylor in my personal space. I moved over. We were losing this arguement.
(Allie's p.o.v)
I opened the door from the kitchen and shut it closed. I saw Selena with her arms crossed, smirking.
Selena- I saw everything.
she smiled widely.
" it..it was just a stare!" I lied
Selena- (sighs) we just have to ignore them. we're losing our train of thought. We dont belong with them. Sooner or later, something bad could happen like...
Allie- HOLY CRAP! the chicken's burning!!!
she quickly openend the oven, and the chicken was on fire. Chef Maria ran into the room, hearing our screams.
Maria- OMG! SELENA! i told you to watch the chicken!
Selena- I....I was....im so sorry!
Lucinda- Allie! Where's my sparkling water?!
Allie- oh crap! If Lucinda finds out we're burning the chicken, our life is screwed!
Selena- ugh! Ill get the sparkling water, and you help Maria with the chicken!
(Selena's p.o.v)
I quickly got a cup and poured the drink. I ran out of the kitchen. I went out and tried to act natural. Everyone stopped talking. I kept looking at Nick Jonas, who was also staring at me. But on top of that, i was wondering if allie was okay.
Lucinda- Whats going on in there?
"uhh...nothing at all. Everything's going perfect" i tried to assure her.
Lucinda- uh huh....give me that.
She snatched the drink right out of my hand. It was so hard trying to ignore nick, who was constantly staring at me, but they went back to thier conversation.
Nick- Can't we just have a vote?
Mom- Fine. Who votes on being partners?
They all raised their hands except Nick Joe and Kevin. They were out numbered. The three of them sighed. i felt bad for them. Anyway, i started walking away when suddenly, someone stopped me.
Mrs Jonas- Wait a minute. I need your opinion on something.
I slowly turned around, wondering if she was talking to me.
"Me?" i was surprised that my voice cracked.
Lucinda- yes you idiot.
i ignored her.
Mrs Jonas- So these girls here would want to be partners with my boys. Nick Joe and Kevin dont want to, but majority does. What do you think?
She gave a look to her sons. Suddenly, they all stared at me for an opinion, and they were all wondering what i would say.
"Well...honestly, i think its up to Nick Joe and Kevin, because theyre the ones that are going to be dealing with them. They have their rights, and i think they opinions mean more." i simply said. They all looked amazed on what i said. Especially Nick.
Lucinda- Psh. Who care about her opinion? She's a maid"
They all laughed at me except Joe, Nick, and Kevin. I still felt humilated. I slowly walked back to the kitchen.
Nick- wait!
i stopped in my tracks and turned around.
Nick- She's not just a miad. She's someone who understands what we're going thorugh. and neither of us had the guts to say that. So no one should be laughing, because that is how we really feel." he said. I smiled slightly.
Nick- Thank you...Selena.
he grinned at me. I went back into the kitchen. Allie and Maria were covered with black stuff all over them, but the chicken was ready.
Allie- it took a while...but we did it!
i smiled. Im glad that worked out at least. But...there was something between Nick and I. i dont even know him...but there's something. And that was bad.
