As a gay teenager I can say it's really scary to come out, but it's depressing and self-destructive to stay hidden about who you truley are. Chely Wright is an inspiration to me and many others and she is an all-around good wholesome person.

I realized that Chely and I have something in common as I watched the trailer to her movie "Wish Me Away"...The stigma and the pain inflicted on us gay and lesbian people had, at some time or another, caused us both to put a gun in our mouth.

Just finished watching this film at our local theatre art guild independent movie night...I am so proud of Chely....the audience loved this film and I was moved so much by it. Thank God people are moving away from the homophobia that has existed for so many years....
