As the global political landscape around climate change evolves, new markets are being created for green technologies and solutions.

The Carbon Economy Summit is November 17-18, 2009 in Washington, D.C.

At the summit, The Economist will convene a diverse group of senior representatives from business, government, academia and international organizations to explore the global policies necessary to secure the worlds energy future. Timed with the publication of a special report in The Economist, The Carbon Economy summit will examine how the political environment has changed since Kyoto and how committed regions and industries are to a sustainable carbon strategy.
