The Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto is my all-time favorite piece of music hands down. This rendition by the relatively unknown Dalibor Brazda is the one I grew up with and is my favorite. I'm way overdue on getting these uploaded but I've finally done it. Enjoy.

@OriginalMoonbeam The recording was from 1999, says my CD. Sorry I didn't reply like, a year ago! I also have a CD of him performing the third and fourth Mozart concerti. Let me know if you have interest in getting your hands on those.

Ok..just "Wikied" him...he was Czech/Swiss..which may account for us not hearing much about him--he lived in Prague much of his life--not as old as he appears--born in the twenties...died in 2005 after immigrating to Switzerland...so this recording is not as old as I imagined.

Nothing other than the fact that this guy guy looks like it was recorded before the time of editing, and he is basically unknown--his intonation and musicality is excellent--very expressive--so I am quite curious about him.

Not bad, but in my opinion, there's nothing special about this renditio - nothing that makes it stand out next to other renditions. I still like Heifetz/Oistrakh best for this concerto.
