This was a B-Day gift for a good buddy of mine. His wife commisioned me to paint one of his favorite videogame characters. It's also one of mine. We play Street Fighter all the time so the project was fitting. Executed it in Photoshop using a wacom tablet. The Japanese characters stand for "Shotokan" which is the fighting style that Ryu uses. It's a title for a certain form of karate. Got the Japanese characters and the background information off of Wikipedia. Hope you guys like it.

Ha ha! You're the first one to notice. I did fix it at the end of the video. But yeah during the process I didn't even notice it. Good eye man.
