yeah, its way more smooth and gradual, way better than the original animation on that one.

interesting how the clips of the bruises now have a gradual change. are any of the shots different i wonder? the gradual transformations seem slowed down, and i have a feeling the shots of kirk/spock, and vians looking on, weren't there originally.

no, jwitchell88. those shots of kirk/spock and the vians looking on were there in the original cut. most of the transformation effects were left alone. so, on this reel, we're just seeing the ones they changed/improved.
this "remastering" is probably the most respectful of all to the original episode.
