very interesting 3D simulation of the aircraft crash effect on the core structure of the building. For those who still have doubts of the fact that a plane crash can cause the collapse of a giant skyscraper.

  • Tottaly false.Because No exist any plane can cut stell, the steel is very fat and the plane be destroyed before touching the building, thank to the panels of metal. The Twin Towers be destroyed with explosions in the core (controles demolicions) put the past Day 9/10.In definition, 2973 dóls. be destroyed online wiith the propose to creaste a war, EE.UU without war not have the actual money, Desunites States live of the war. George Bush is a f*****n killer.

  • The phrase "like a knife through warm butter" comes to mind when I see the airplane hit the tower. No structure at that time was designed to take that kind of force, and watching this simulation it's no wonder the towers couldn't take the stress.

  • @qortin Dude, you are confusing Degrees with Fahrenheit.

    Steel melts at 1300-1400 degrees (which is around 2500F). So check your facts on that. You also failed to note that Steel goes soft at around 500 degrees; therefore making it even weaker and more vulnerable to the fires.

  • @qortin The initial plane crash severed beams and floor trusses increasing the load on the remaining structure. Floor trusses in the fire twisted, snapted bolts holding them to the vertical columns. With the loss of an increasing number of floor trusses the outer columns buckled outwards until they failed. The tower did tip over sideways until there was a catastropic collapse.This can clearly be seen in videos. Remember it was a falling dynamic weight also not static

  • @Spindry96 there is my problem mate. The 45000 tones existed for decades before the impact. If there was a failure of the beams on that floor (cannot be simultaneous since not all beams were damaged by the impact or effected by fire) the only increase in mass would be the velocity of those few mtrs on one of the sides of the tower and therefore the top of the tower would fal on on side of the tower and not pass through the lower floors meantime reduced to dust. (thus losing its mass)

  • @qortin Many fire departments treat any steel only construction as a potential collapse. Fireproofing only buys time, time to evacuate people and just maybe time to fight the fire. The burning floors didn't vanish they collapsed thus weakening the vertical columns. This can be seen on the videos where you can clearly see the outer columns bow out before they snap. Ask yourself, if you could lift 1300 tones what would happen if l dropted 45000 tones on you?

  • @qortin The steel didn't have to melt to fail. Steel looses 50% of it's structural strength at 1200 f. Also with uneven fires there are varying stresses placed on steel beams causing it to expand, distort or twist. The thin floor beams were believed to have been deformed causing the wall joining bolts to snap. Once enough of these failed the vertical columns also weakened by fire lost much of their strength

  • @qortin The falling top 15 floors weight was around 45000 tones. The floors they fell on was rated to be able to support 1300 tones above their own weight. This massive falling kinetic weight was way too much for them to resist.
