Baul Song - 10

Another gem from 2010 Pous Mela held at Santiniketan, India, between Dec 23 and 25. Apart from the main stage, there are usually a few theme booths in the fairground, showcasing various social issues and raising awareness. One such booth this year was on safe motherhood. This is a live recording from that booth. Reena Das is sister of Gautam Das Baul and wife of Dibakar Das Baul, a family fully devoted to Baul music.

The video was recorded on a Sony HDR-HC7 and the audio was recorded on MZ-RH1 using an external microphone.
