Pt. 2 discusses the issue of colorism in the media and how it's done by both black men and even women sometimes..but be clear Colorism isn't as major in the everyday lives of black people as some want you to think

  • Check out Kanye new vid - Power. I find it so disrectful. He use the only two blk women in the vid depicting the devil (wearing horns) and the main female character is white and it's potrayed as an angel (wearing wings). Now when they "ocassionally"use blk females, they normally use blk females with "white-like" facial features or a mixed blk. But in this vid they want every one to know that the devil characters were blk women so they have thick lips ect. I was soo shock.

  • @TheNoleboo omg I will check out the video..But I already knew he had issues when he said only video models could be bi-racials..he i sick in the head and into some satanic shit

  • Its all just bogus. Blk wm are seen as turning their backs on blk men if she acknowledges men of other races too. I mean, its not just about colorism. Its always something when it comes to blk folks. We cant just be happy with our lives without having to answer for why we make the choices we make, even if its respectable. This society we live in is poisonous. Nevertheless, we have to learn to live in it. Man oh man, you would think that living in a free country that things would be easier. haaa

  • @Liliworld627 that's true

  • @Liliworld627 really damn lol a year. !!!!!

  • @90rashad I think you didn't completely understand my comment which was clear, but nonetheless thanks for replying even though its been over a year since this post.

  • @Liliworld627 hey don't try and turn it around. This woman was obviously telling the truth. We as black people have a problem, and we have this slave mentality, because we have been oppressed and mind programmed for so long. You are ignorant if you blame just black women. A black man statement.

  • The reason the African American males in the videos are of darker complexion is because the artist like Darker African American Males. I myself tend to date Lighter African American Women. Not because I don't love Darker skinned African American Woman but, because they remind me of my Grandmother and aunts who I love very much, and who Made, and make me feel loved. I've also dated lite skinned women who thought they were doing me a favor because they were lite. and I dumped their sick asses.

  • Black girls are on TV but half the time the media portray them as sluts. Look at lil kim, she aint no role model. nicki minaj she iight, but then again what message is she sending across? smh Maybe things will be different if aaliyah was around, cuhs she was pretty and wasnt exposing all her shits on TV. smfh. Life has changed, we need to accept that fact things aint this same no more and and as long as white folks call the shots in the media industry aint nothing gunna change.

  • To be honest, when the rap videos were about dancing and partying, the sistas got their shine. Now that they are primarily about booty poppin, it's a no win proposition. Nelly got endless grief for swiping the credit card thru the sista's butt cheeks and it was actually her idea. It was tacky and disrespectful, but my point is they are either "degrading Black women" or "elevating Latinas and White women", so they are in a trick bag no matter what.

  • Just like Lil Wayne's song...."Beautiful black woman, I bet that bitch look better red." WTF. It's just sad. Smh.

  • @TheNoleboo The two black girls/ horned girls in the power video represent Isis and Hathor. The white girl with the wings represent Satan which is a Cherubim Angel with four wings. I am studying the types of angels and from what I gather Satan is a Cherubim.
