whoahhh...i saw a similar engine a while ago...the only difference is that this engine uses heat from a candle while the other engine used the heat from direct sunlight. amazing!

The efficiency of this engine is desperately low, somewhere below 1%. Though, it still can drive small loads. Instead of magnets and coils, I used stepper motor from an old floppy drive as a generator. The maximum electrical power I was able to extract was approx. 85mW. This is enough to power few super-bright leds, small pocket radio or even a MP3 player with two small loud speakers.
