0:13 - Cyndi: "best friend Luke" What an adorable goofy smile. Poor kid is trying to be strong after Noah just left with Tony
0:21 - True Colors is considered a gay anthem. Not only do the colors allude to the gay rainbow flag, but the song itself is about being honest and the freedom to express oneself. In concerts, Cyndi often wraps herself in a large rainbow flag when she sings this. Phil Collins also did a pretty good remake of the song but it lacks the emotional impact in her original.
1:42 - Cyndi: "can't remember when" Aww, look at tearful Luke looking longingly at Noah
2:10 - In an actual concert, we'd have lighters lit while swaying back and forth
2:36 - Cyndi: "And I can't remember..." Van does an AMAZING job portraying someone who has to smile while he is sobbing inside. Watch how his expression changes depending on whether Cyndi is watching him. VAN WAS ROBBED OF AN EMMY, DAMNIT!
3:00 - cYNDI: "you call me up" Jake is also doing an amazing job portraying a lost soul, afraid of following his heart, and haunted by guilt. Watch his eyes look downward in guilt and shame as the scene fades back to Cyndi. Heartbreaking. It certainly brought a tear to my eyes...
3:44 - Cyndi: "SO DON'T BE AFRAID!" Wow, I've never hear her do this part in a crescendo like that! Amazing. The lyrics, of course, really apply more to Noah than Luke
5:07 - NUKE'S 7TH KISS!!! Not as public as the one in Olde Towne but this one is among their peers
6:13 - Luke: "This might be a first" Aww, Luke is looking up at Noah with tearful eyes, hopeful that their love will finally be consummated (that's a fancy way of saying "have sex"!)
8:22 - Luke: "you love most in the world" Oh my god, Noah just returned to a face that we haven't seen since he first struggled to express his feelings in a card to Luke! Remember how he couldn't face Luke as the card was read? This was the face of extreme discomfort.
8:26 - Luke: "build houses for families that need homes" Habitat for Humanity is a great organization that my girlfriend and I hope to join one day.
8:49 - Luke: "tell Officer Davis that you're gay?" Oh my god, Luke is back to his wicked sarcasm again. Love the flag waving.
9:10 - Luke: "this is a really big decision" So was the sham marriage but Noah didn't give that much thought either. Noah is a great representation of someone who always had decisions made for him. As I've said in the past, he needs years of therapy
9:35 - NUKE'S 8TH KISS!!! This is the first time they've had 2 kisses in one episode. In fact, very few ATWT characters have done that. Usually, multiple kisses are part of the same lovemaking session split into separate scenes. Nuke get to have 2 separate and distinct kisses!
9:46 - Think back to the Valentine's Fantasy special where Noah leaves Luke to return to the Navy. Only then, he promised to return if Luke would wait for him. There was no such promise here... *sniff*

I don't know for sure but I think it's just a way to give Jake Silbermann a break. Just as they paralyzed Luke when Van wanted to do a play, and put Lily in a coma when Martha Byrnes went on maternity leave.

I mean, c'mon, Noah in the army??? The military bans gays and Noah has been out long enough to be known as gay. It's just a matter of time before he gets kicked out back into the arms of Luke...

Cyndi Lauper is still amazing after more than 25 years. I last saw her opening for Cher's Farewell Tour and many thought that Cyndi outshone Cher. Catch her if she comes to your town. Cyndi, whose sister is a lesbian, is very pro-gay. Who else would sing about gay porn and masturbation? Cyndi does in her classic, "She Bop." The entire song is about masturbation and the line, "the pages of a blueboy magazine" alludes to the gay porn magazine, Blueboy. Love her!

I hate how the studio is pandering to the right-wing to end this storyline. They have a chance to support love and tolerance, and instead they choose to end a beautiful and wonderful story. It's sad and heartbreaking.

He deserved to win last year's and this year's Emmy award. Too bad it didn't happen. But Van doesn't need an award to prove to us how talented he is and how much we love him as Luke.

GOD NOAH IS A JERK. I am so over Noah. Come on, let Luke get doted on by someone for once instead of being the one always dumped, ditched, left and mistreated. Sure Luke is not perfect but I always feel like he's the one left chasing after the people he loves. Can't someone chase him for once? :( Noah doesn't love Luke, thats pretty clear now. I just wish he would stop jerking Luke around.
