The thousand of deaths of children attributable to lack of health care coverage (John Hopkins Children's Center stucy) means nothing to the pro-lifers.Americas chances of health care reform means nothing to the rabid pro-lifers.

They make me sick.

They have a right to their view, but when they try to hold the ransom America's chances of HC reform they become nothing but a plague.

For the duration of gestation, a fetus is a parasite, not that it's technical status is relevant to its "RIGHTS". For the duration of forced gestation, that is, for a person without access to elective abortion, it is, indeed against the person's will.

Women own their bodies. They don't owe them to anyone. If you'd like to see a country where the government controls the reproduction of the populace, move to China.

If you don't want to have an abortion - don't have one. You have that CHOICE.

If you want to convince someone else not to have one, or to support them if they have an unwanted baby - go for it.

But don't fuck up America's chance of h.c. reform that will save lives both unborn & born from extension of h.c. coverage for millions more Americans.

And by the way, abortions have always been and still are for all intents & purposes "free" for the rich. The costs are insignificant compared to their wealth, so it's the same as "free" for them.

Stupidity? You can't even seem to read one paragraph correctly. Did it say I was "for" abortion? No. It said it made me sick that the rabid pro-lifers were using the issue to ransom chances at much needed reform of the health care system.

Maybe you should take reading lessons.

Oh my gosh, your stupidity makes me sick. You think that pro-lifers only care about abortion? Pro-life is just the label for being against abortions, just like pro-choice means you think abortions should be legal. If you really were "pro-choice", you'd be protesting North Korea, or aiding the Libyan rebels. Also, it's pro-choicers who are saying that abortions should be made free before REAL life saving procedures are the ones who want to hurt American healthcare.
