Progressive Spied On Policyholders in Church/Bible Study

After news broke of Progressive spying on its own policyholders, CEO Glen Renwick issued a public statement condemning the actions as "appalling" and vowed "to take full responsibility." In court, however, Progressive now claims its conduct was "reasonable." Was the apology sincere or was it simply damage control?

Progressive thinks people are STUPID because they are utilizing some dumb caricature to sell worthless insurance policies. There is nothing funny about death and an insurance company such as Progressive that REFUSES to honor their policy. Progressive is nothing more than a Ponzi Scheme in which the Corporate Executives get rich and leave injured policy holders bogus insurance policies which are not worth the paper they are written on. i work at a progressive direct repair shop,they write there own estimate for used parts that look like there off derby cars sometimes.my boss knows its wrong but he has to suck there balls for brownie points to get more work in.if you dont go to one of there repair shops they make sure to put you on the back burnner and make it hell .even something mighty as the persian empire fell.i just hope in mylifetime i get to see progressive fall to there knees in lawsuits and shame

All of the talk about fraud is to make people fear being accused so they won't file claims, it's all a game because fraud is a low percentage of claims. The high insurance rates are for the sake of profit.

@lauinger My insurance company wanted to punish me for filing a claim so they refused to renew my insurance and labeled me an unacceptable driver and I was the one rammed in the back.

These insurance companies have to wrong many people for the sake of profit, I wouldn't feel comfortable investing in an insurance company. I'm doing all I can to expose the game and the news media should help me just like they helped the insurance companies with too much talk about fraud and fraud is a low percentage of claims.

Figures.... progressive is a disgusting greedy company. They think they have free run and can break laws and morality to make money. I don't want to hear how the poor insurance companies have to pay out, they earn billions screwing their clients, like they did to me.

Honestly, if people didn't fake injuries for fraud so much Progressive wouldn't have to do this.

I don't know why it would matter if it was church, a grocery store, or any place everyone is welcome.

Progressive Insurance DOES SUCK!!! I've had them about 25 years, and yet when a woman hits me where I am stopped (she was talking on the phone and looking off to the side even - I watched her approach and slam into me), they paid her and upped my rates because it was more profitable. They didn't even tell me they did it - I got to find out a year after I'd been paying them. Note well the cop on scene said the driver would have been charged if not on a private lot, so she couldn't charge anyone.
