1997 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am WS6

My old ride that I traded in for an Altima. I know. I'm a sellout. This was a very fast car in its time. Now it seems like a ton of cars are over 300 horse. This had 305 ponies (stock), Ram air induction, T-tops & leather. I miss the car despite people thinking I was trashy.

im about to turn 16 and im gettin a 97 firebird, and i was wondering if it was actually worth it or not, i mean ive seen videos of the stock models doin work and such but is it better than havin a truck or something of that nature?

@shawn1995roolzdood You're sort of comparing apple & oranges if you're thinking of getting a truck. If you want PERFORMANCE, the best bang for the buck is this car. Be careful that you don't get one that's been beat up by prior owners. You may want to look at a '98 or newer because it is a different engine (LS1) that is considered better than the LT1 engine in the 97s. Good luck.

I owned this car 8 years ago.  If memory serves, the bumper lights (aka running lights) were always on in this model year regardless as to whether the headlights were on or off.

Its so worth it I have One and its so fast off the line. but are you getting a 3.8 V6 or the 5.7 v8 The V6 is really quick. And I think its faster than the v8.
