We sat down w/ West coast Hip Hop pioneer Egyptian Lover back in 2005 to find out his influences and what it was like in the early days of LA Hip Hop... Many think Egypt was influenced by Afrika Bambaataa and Planet Rock.. Actually he was influenced by Prince and Kraftwerk..He also taught Luther Campbell of the 2Live Crew how to work the drum machine
