Kingdom Hearts II - Sora vs. Cloud + Leon (Test)

I used to play around with codebreaker codes for this game. And while there was a ton of resetting involved a lot of the time (you know the game freezing when it doesn't know what to do)

The Heads-Up Display in just about every game display the information we need to know. Your character's Life, MP, Commands, Information, Enemy Info etc. But what if you decide to turn off these elements?

A code tailed back to late 2007 was created to do just that. When you run around with no HUD... it becomes very hard to keep track of what you are doing. I decided to try it out for the fun of it.

This happened in one of the Hade's Cup Tornaments. I also think I used a Battle Level Modifier because there is no way Leon and Cloud could take this much of a beating from Final Form for this long with normal settings.

Anyway, I was just doing fine with this cup when not only did the HP alarm go off (meaning I was almost dead), but time was running out so I lost the round.

I take some punishment but one of Final Form's best abilities will give a Counter-attack every time an enemy hurts you (see the whip Cloud received in the middle?).

How do you get no hud? Is that a code?

It is a code. A hard to use one at that.

There is one for all the decorations that will leave only the words on screen (so you know what you are doing a little bit) and one to remove just about everything.

The main menu has many elements missing when you pause. BUT there is a slightly different code that can be used to affect cut-scenes as well (so the subtitles don't even appear).

...and before you ask, I no longer know what these codes are.

It is pretty hard to do it without HUD, but it looks very serious and epic
