$50 3D Beamsplitter Rig

Here is a quick video of the 3D beamsplitter rig I built from spare parts and stuff at Home Depot. It works great. The glass was $240 but everything else was very inexpensive. I got the glass here http://www.stereoscopicmirrors.com. I've taken lots of great photos with it. I'm working on video right now. I am also building a 3D Vizard and will have a video of that up as soon as it's done.

I'll make another video that has a more detailed description. To find the glass, just google "50/50 mirror" or " half-mirror." There are a bunch of places that sell it and the price really varies. Good Luck!

So ... can you shoot a small video ( SD would be enough) with 2 dslr with a difference of exposition then put them together in a HDR video???

Yes!!! I'm so glad someone has constructed a beam-splitter / inter-ocular 3D camera rig themselves. An assembly video would be awesome!! =)

This is awesome! A detailed description of how you made it would be awesome! although it seems pretty straight foreward. Where did you get the glass?
