There are many good reasons to have Android or any other Linux OS on your computer. Linux is not as popular as Windows therefore very few viruses have been created to target Linux.
From what I have read - Acer has designed Linux (the version on your PC) to load up faster than Windows is able to.
Linux is free to use, edit and distribute. This means you will not have to buy recovery media if you fail to make a backup of Windows.

@AndrewGeeWanda And WinNT kernel is developed by max 10k of people (+they weren't professionals) and here are BILLIONS of Malware and other harmful software no WinNT platform.
Only 863 harmful objects are on Linux, but due to software repositories, Linux is extra secure. Only fking noobs' machines can be infected.
