The sound on this game is solid looks fun, but looks challenging aswell

Love this game. Really works the VIC's soundchip which was far less 'evolved' than the C64's SID chip.
Amazing shooter! A Classic in my humble opinion! But Jeff Minter is ace at making any machine sing and dance and this is no exception.

@porypowerhour LOl it does man :) I was going to do a review and mention the fact that it does look like a futuristic centipede game :) Also one of my all time favorites is centipede!

Jeff Minter's classic. I love the really dirty grinding retro sounds, and the frantic blasting action. It's Centipede, with a bit more grunt :) I highly recommend Minter's Gridrunner++ for the PC (I know he's brought out a new Gridrunner "Revolution" I think it's called for PC and 360, not played that though).

@atombat I believe I have another Jeff Minters game which is Agressor. I havent played it yet, but definately will! Yeah the whole retro sound effects in this one are amazing. Especially when you go to the next level and it sound like the damn tv is gonna explode with the mighty power of the sound effect lmao. I will have to check into the later gridrunners. :)
