The world's top whistleblower has taken his long legal battle to stay in the UK to the country's Supreme Court, where he is appealing extradition to Sweden. Julian Assange is wanted on allegations of sexual assault dating back to August 2010, which he denies. The Wikileaks founder insists the case is politically motivated, and a response to his website publishing secret U.S. cables on wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. RT's Laura Smith is at the High Court in London.

  • scariest place on earth to be extradite is USA, they make the Nazi death camps look like normal Youth detention center.

  • If Obama can get away with continuing a war that should had ended with the death of "Osama bin laden" the master mind if 9/11. But reintroduce the reason to violate Iran that bush used to invade iraq. He gets away with murder. Assange gets his freak and they take him to supreme count?

  • Of course the case is politically motivated.

  • @Ettoredipugnar ok i see now your just a retarded dumbass trolling not only have i answered all your questions i have disproved all your false claims with real facts fuck you sir go die

  • All the US want to do is to get their hands on him so he can be disappeared, he and wikileaks are too much of a threat to the totalitarian government as long as asssange is alive.

  • @fivemeomedia Talking out of my ass? At least im not going in circles because I cant answer a direct question.

  • All the Ex-Mossad spies will end up like this?

  • @ShindyK2 Right on. I wasn't aware of that use of semicolon. Thanks for clarifying.

  • @Ettoredipugnar again you are talking out your ass i doubt you even know what the leaked information was allow me to tell since you refuse to actually do any research yourself how is releasing past field reports between 2004-2009 compromise any future military action? the leaked papers showed the world that 80% of the 150,000 casualties in iraq were civilians whistle blowers like assange and manning are protected under US law WBPact but of coarse the military is above the law now

  • It's a win win situation for Assange, if he is extradited he'll become a martyr for wikileak supporters and even Anti-ACTA people. If he's not extradited he'll be free to do more whistle-blowing
