I have 2005, same issues with odometer pulsing high and low, mystery chime that does not indicate any warning, tach and speedometer max out to right, and headlights dim and rise too, they replaced 500.00 Intstrument Cluster part at dealer but no help. They said it was battery, but that is not correct. I tend to think bad solder or wiring, and that battery ends up failing which caused other systems to be effected. It was happening, cut of AC, no help, cut of radio, it stopped, go figure.

hey guys i just found out that there is a bad solder behind these dash board instrument clusters. They want like a grand to fix it at a shop but if you know how to solder you can probably do it yourself. BTW it is not just 2005 mine is a 2002 and i have heard of it on a 2008 as well. Let me know how it goes I hope I helped someone:)

Exactly what mine is doing. 2005, just hit 70,000 miles.
The mileage and gear indicator lights will rapidly flash from bright to dim.
The red Brake and yellow ABS light will illuminate in the top center of the console.
All 4 gauges will go haywire and flip up and down rapidly.
The radio will lose power, lights on and off.
If the AC is off, it will blow air out the vent briefly.
The headlights and running lights dim and flicker.

Same thing here....I have a 2007 and have exactly same issue... replaced battery no help... Anyone know the fix?

Did you ever find out what was wrong with it? We have the SAME YEAR, same model and are having the SAME ISSUES! We have taken it to the dealership ELEVEN TIMES already and have replaced the front control module, battery, alternator, headlight switch, body control module and have tightened all the grounds and the damn thing is STILL NOT fixed. Already dumped $1500 into it....HELP!!!
Thanks for the response. Maybe it will help someone else that comes by this video here. We had a ton of hail damage last spring, and the insurance totalled that van out, and I have since replaced it with another vehicle.

The closest I’ve come to finding the exact trouble is in the wiring harness below the battery. When it starts doing it’s tricks, I can grab hold of that harness and shake it around, and the problem stops for awhile. Sometimes it comes back within a few miles, and other times it will last a few days. I have not had the time to hunt it down any closer, and have been getting by this way for now.
