Doesn't look like renmei-kyudo more like some kind of "meigen" ritual. Don't know what ryu-ha. Still, nice to shoot in order to open an even like that. As far as the Japanese making a joke of their culture... I've seen enough gaijin come over and make themselves silly too... there are a 120 some millon Japanese.. which ones are you talking about ? Not a very budo-like manner... sad thanks for the clip

it's shinto kyudo, "one life, one arrow", so not federation kyudo.

It is the Japanese who are making a joke of their own culture. Kozaka San should learn how to do proper kyudo and the meaning of kai!
