Thelma Houston is best known for her 1970s classic disco cover of 'Don't Me Leave This Way'. It was originally written by the legendary songwriting team, Gamble & Huff for Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes. She also had a record in 1984 with the Synth-Dance song 'You Used To Hold Me Tight' which was written by Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. 'Out Of My Hands' and 'Throw You Down' were comeback songs from her Throw You Down album in 1990. She resurfaced with the release of her album, A Woman's Touch in 2007, and she still continues to perform at venues all over singing great covers of Disco hits of the 1970s.
Wow, she looks super! This is my first time seeing this. I would look forward to seeing a higher-resolution version soon. ;)

Just recently discovered this piece of heaven, and i just cant stop watching this video! I'm not gonna mention the vocals, Thelma looks so damn good in this video! I love how the classic artist can still look and sound so good. I guess it's all in doing what you love; hit or not you've touched someone with what you've done, thanks thelma!
