Lika Shubitidze was born on 17 September 1984, in Gori, Georgia. Her father, Shota Shubitidze, was an engineer. Mother Nana Lomidze was a teacher of foreign languages. She has two brothers, David and Ioseb Shubitidze. She graduated from Gori #3 high school.

In 1991—1998, Shubitidze was studying in Gori #2 music school (piano). In 2003-2006 she was in Z. Phaliashvili music college (voice). In 2001—2005 She was in I. Chavchavadze State University of language and culture (foreign languages).
Shubitidze was 2 years old when her family found out that she had a unique talent in music. At the age of four, she becomes a member of the band called "TSISARTYELA". Later came another band called "AI IA". She became a lead singer.

In 2001, she moved to the capital of Georgia, Tbilisi, and continued her career as a singer assisted by the composer Nunu Gabunia and vocalist Lali Beradze. In 2004, she took part in the TV contest for singers "NUTSAS SKOLA", where she was a finalist and won a prize as an "Intellectual Singer". In 2005, there is another contest, "GEOSTAR", where she becomes a finalist again. In the same year, she collaborated with the company "ART FORUM" (Kakhaber Tsiskaridze & Stepane Mgebrishvili). She recorded two songs and took part in the shows the company manages. In 2006, two directors, Basa Samkharadze & Dachi Darchia, made a first video of Shubitidze, on the very famous Italian song "Vacanze Romane", which became very popular among Georgians. It differs from other videos the Georgians ever made. In 2007, Dachi Darchia made another video of her, on the Georgian traditional song "Suliko". The same year, director Anka Gujabidze made a video of Shubitidze, on her original song "My First Song". In 2008, she became a lead singer of the indie-rock band "YELLOW", and recorded a couple of songs with them. In 2008, she left Georgia and moved to the US, in St. Louis, MO, where she continued her music career. First, she joined cover band "FURIOUS VIXEN". She collaborated with an R&B musician and producer, Damon Davis. The same year, director Dachi Darchia made a virtual (Skype) video of her on her original song "Reverse". In St. Louis, MO she collaborated with free jazz musician and producer Jay Zelenka, they recorded an album together. In 2009, she moved to New York where she continued her career as a singer and songwriter.

In 2006, Lika Shubitidze collaborated with the best musicians in Georgia and is having shows in the clubs with them.
