Don't get a unichip, it's old tech, get a flash tuner and a custom tune. As well as the above , get some Pacemker headers and a metal cat. Other things you can do, get a 20% Underdrive Pulley, put in 4.11 diff gears and a hi-stall. For more tips try googling "B series" and join our owners club and forum.

Hey mate what cat/size is that and if you dont mind me asking how much are they roughly? I got a BF NA 6 as well and only seem to be able to find decent info for the turbo cats which are huge, im guessing we dont need cats as big as 4.5". Also, is the rest of your exhaust stock as your rear muffler looks waay to nice and clean lol. Thanks for any help.

It's a 3" Magnaflow metal cat, it's as big as you need. Roughly about the $350 mark fitted. 2.5" would be fine also. The rest was a 2.5" Redback system with the standard tip,

woah quick reply. thanks mate. Also, forgot to ask, have you had it tuned after the cat and would it screw over fuel economy without a tune after? cos i want to hold on the tune till i pool up the cash for a herrord cat back, i lovee the sound those make.

Yes mate, I had the std cat on with the exhaust and a tune, added the metal cat and gained 14rwkw. A tune is the best idea to get the most out of it. But you also need to do your intake. Herrod exhausts sound great, but s/hand turbo exhausts sound good too, but the best sounding exhaust I had was the 3" single Redback exhaust (look up my other video, although the vid doesn't do it justice)

hahah yeh i tried the turbo exhaust already and it didnt work out dont get me started. Gimp local exhaust places couldnt fit it over the rear axle. Ended up just taking the centre muffler out. Done the lower and upper snorkels and air filter as well. Just finalising the exhaust and deciding 100% what i want then saving up for it and the tune. If you dont mind me asking whyd you take off the 3"? will definitely look it up, thanks mate.

Well the turbo exhausts weren't the sound I was looking for either, but lots swear by them. The 3" exhaust was the last mod I did before I sold the car, I have a turbo now. The 3" Redback was great though, very loud, nice rumble, did drone a bit but it was worth it.
