Transcript:

Welcome again, to another episode of Linkpro TV. This is our IWC-502W, a configuration free 802.11 g wireless Pan/Tilt IP camera. For those of you unfamiliar with IP Cameras, they allow you to view your camera anywhere in the world as long as you have an internet connection. Our IWC-502W has a small antenna, built in microphone and Ethernet port. The convenient aspect about this model is that if you set it as using Ethernet connection and it suddenly times out, it will use wireless as a backup. For the Pan/Tilt control, it has a pan range of 130 degrees and tilt range of 90 degrees, with auto pan and auto patrol modes available. It also features MPEG4 / RTSP at 640 x 480 resolution, 30 fps frame rate. It supports 3GP/ISMA support so you can view your camera from your smart phone. Another great feature is the NAS storage, functions such as email/ftp sending, motion detection and NAS recording. If your camera detects any motion when you are not at home or office, it will notify you immediately. Encryption wise it supports WEP and WPA. If you have any Sales inquiries please reach us at sales@linkpro.com.tw. Thanks for your time

  • I have purchase this camera. What the manufacturer fails to tell everyone is that the email notification on motion detect does not work as most SMTP configuration nowadays required SSL authentication. It appears that the firmware does not support it. Also the motion detect is almost useless, as I have configured the motion detect to medium. Unfortunately, when there isn't any movement but only change of light from day to night, the motions detect assumes that there is motion.
