This lesson addresses the following:
* what is meant by a person's purpose in life?
* when and how is it acquired and developed by some?
* how does it relate to career?
This lesson was prompted by a question tweeted recently by NixiePixel: "Just curious.. Should I know what to do with my life at 22? I don't have a clue sometimes.." (tweet is currently at: http://www.twitter.com/NixiePixel/status/4307738492 ; NixiePixel's channel is at http://www.youtube.com/nixiepixel )
This lesson also has word-origin request for two words for HotForWords (http://www.youtube.com/hotforwords ).
And this lesson has an Easter Egg involving strippers!

At least for me, the issue is having so many things I find "enjoyable and important" that I'm not sure how to prioritize and make one specific thing into a career.
Also, thankfully my desires of having worms crawl over me when I was younger has now changed... =D Now that I think of it I've only met very few people that have a career in what intrigued them when they were younger.

OK. Public figures who decided on a purpose while very young can be found among tennis players (don't recall names), singers (I think Mariah Carey, Shania Twain) and maybe a few actors too. Easier to find public examples in athletics and arts since the early pursuits too would be exposed to the public (and maybe since these are relatively easier to formulate).
