Becuase the majority of Indians are Hindus and thus the use of the statue in the beginning is something which is done in order to bless the movie. Next time you need to write something insulting at least have the courtesy to say or ask it in a nice way rather than calling it "statue shit". To a Hindu person, which I am, I find it highly offensive.
