@djk28161 Hate to burst your bubble, but, many historians say that he was robbed both times by the judges, because no one liked him at the time. A shame too, because I did like him as a boxer, and he is one of the all time greats!

This fight shows the fighting intelligence and maturity of Holmes. Guile indeed. He simply fooled and outsmarted Mercer. Proves that old age and treachery will always overcome youth and skill.
