"The Church Or The Bible" by Fr. Arnold Damen, SJ (1815 - 1890)

The following sermon is as relevant today as it was over 100 years ago when it was first preached by Father Arnold Damen, S.J. This message was and still is a challenge to the many who pride themselves as being "Bible-and-Bible-Only Christians" (this sermon was taken from: www.drbo.org).

This sermon proves that the organized Catholic Church could not have taught any destructive untruths before the time of apostasy. It was not until then that worldwide literacy and access to information would come to the point when we could find all essential truths on our own. Finding essential truths would no longer be our problem; believing them would be. The time of apostasy is when a majority of the Church loses faith in one or more essential truths.

Video you are working on . yes the church has always (before V-2 ) made everything clear and concise . Father Damen and any real priest can explain it this easy . If people weren't so lukewarm they would figure this out .

They say "I'm saved" and Jesus says ' I spit out lukewarm believers "
