This video is prepared by the Armenian Students' Association at Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada.
The video was presented as a prelude to a lecture event organized by the ASA, held on March 18, 2011.
The event featured renowned Turkish historian Dr. Taner Akcam, who's topic focused on the Turkish government's denial policy toward the Armenian Genocide.
The objective of this presentation is twofold: 1) to spread awareness about the current denial of the Armenian Genocide by the Turkish government, and 2) to show denialists that society stands united against all genocides known & unknown, accepted & not accepted.
**The goal of the ASA is to provide an opportunity for Armenian students to unite and promote a spirit of appreciation toward Armenian culture, heritage, and history through cultural and educational functions, as well as social and recreational events. **
