Awesome band! Much more metal than industrial, which is cool.

Had a chance to see these guys a few times. First time i saw them they didn't even have a drummer. Just a drum machine on the stage. It was fucking insane! I have a drum n bass record that was written by Justin Brodrick.... Godflesh is the tits!

@00bilz Not really. The droning and noise influence was obviously from Swans but Godflesh was Riff based like a metal band and there was more craft and less dissonance with Godflesh.
Swans were good but early Godflesh was taking the Swans sound and making it more metal and enjoyable.
I can always count on "Streetcleaner" to clear people I don't want out of a party near the end of the night.

@yoe91 Ministry is fucking great dude. If you're really into Industrial metal, then they are a necessity to listen to. The album by Ministry that I recommend listening to first to try them out, is the album "The Land of Honey and Rape". It's great Industrial, though I will tell you, it's not as heavy as GODFLESH, so don't expect that from it. But It's still great nonetheless.
