  • Sorry pal but when you put a video on to show how to prep fiber and it is wrong in so many aspects you are the dumbass. Owning a business does not mean you know what your are doing in fiber. This is horrible and you should be ashamed that people can see you failing so hard. If you have fiber splicers working for you please show them this video and watch there reactions. Also 300k a year in a communications industry would also be a fail, you should be making 300k in a month. Nice try. Go back to

  • @grabsalgodon I dont work in communications any more I work in SEO. Its a totally different industry. 300K a year is what I pay myself in take home. The rest I reinvest in the company.. thats how you grow a company dude. Once again its a video I made for a chick 3-4 years ago. I am not even remotely embarrassed. Sorry you take the internet so seriously bro.

  • @grabsalgodon this video was made 3 years ago for my girlfriend to show her some of what I did at my job. I wasnt a fiber tech I was a network admin who sometimes did fiber in the course of my job. Congrats for being a super special splicer dude. I now run my own company and make about 300k a year.. but hey you can splice fiber faster than I can and felt necessary to tell me over the interwebs. Congrats dumbass.

  • lol i cut the tube 1.5 m from the top and pull it out from the fibres, you can not snap the fibre thatway.

for cleaning i recommend: Valvoline brake cleaner spray ;)

how much time does it take for you to fuse 72 fibres?

  • You may be able to pull 1.5m off at a time but with the thick gel we had in our tubes it was just not practical. The way I showed is the industry standard way of doing it. I'm sure there are many shortcuts.

  • @grabsalgodon Haha you fail

  • Ok I don't mean to be an ass but....

I have only been splicing for two months now. First off this must be a fiber to the home (FTTH) location that you are working on. I can pretty much guarantee you are a in-house tech. It's not armored cable. You really need to know you terminology before you try to teach someone this. I saw you prepping all wrong, there is a faster way of doing this. The buffer tubes can be cut and pulled off at any length. I prep six and eight feet at a time. And multiple bu

  • just the fuseing should not take more than 90 minutes in my opinion
