Thanks or your response. In having read things through a little bit more your point is indeed accurate, Acem Meditation is partly sprung from Transcendental Meditation.

I wish you good luck in pursuing it, it seems like a plausible method for growth.

over the generations and being kept, pure of trancsendental in "nature". How did the Acem mediation originate ? Does it work like TM. Is the mantra, "sacred", does it "work" by taking the mediators attention tothe trancsendent ? I am interestedin the terminology used in Acem medation as it is not religous. But it is hard to find out was Acem medation actually is, what its origins are, etc .....

- very information, and that you had to either go to norway or america to learn the technique.I am interested in learning Acem, when I read about it on the website, as it seemed to use sound as a way of healing the psychie, and sterred away from religious over tones, or even suggestings of Yogic science or anything "eastern" as I think this rasies misunderstaning in peoples minds. I have done TM, not Acem, but I could not see how Acem mediatino could work without the mantra/seed sound being past

I guess I was told that they were the same. And I read it on the internet. I was told the Acem was a break away faction of the TM movement, when then people teaching it disagreed with the price increase to learn mediation. So I took that information on trust and believed it to be the case. I am glad to here that it is different. And is uses a "mantra" to quieten the mind. I am infact interested in Acem mediation and was going to buy a book on it. But the review of the book said it was not -

I am a bit curious as to why you insist on comparing Transcendental meditation to Acem Meditation. This is the second post I see you author on Acem Meditation.

Transcendental Meditation has a solid foundation in Hinduism.

That is not the case with Acem Meditation which is a non sectarian technique.

What cause you to compare TM and Acem meditation, is it experience in both practises that makes you qualified to draw such conclusions or are you merely speculating?
