Perry Central had Dandy Dozen Running Back Nick Griffin and he was shut down by South Jones until Overtime. Recently, Perry Central coach said that they went 13 - 2 and deep into the playoff and that South Jones was by far the toughest team they played all year. He was dumbfounded as to why South Jones only had 2 wins. Key Players to watch are #10 Alex McGruder, who rushed for over 1000 yards, #25 Shelby Phillips, Outstanding Powerful Junior Receiver who benchpresses 310 lbs. #8 Brandon Lee, Second Team All-Division, and #18 Paul Clark 1st Cousin to #25 Shelby Phillips. Paul made 1st Team All-Division and was one of the State leaders in Touchdown receptions as a Sophomore. The QB was Junior #13 Bryant Bacuum.
