2013 Porsche Cayman Spy Video

In just a month's time Porsche is set to take the wraps off its brand new "991" series 911, but not too long after the automaker from Stuttgart will also introduce new-generations of the Boxster and its Cayman sibling.

Here we have a video of a prototype for the new Porsche Cayman as it runs up some test miles on the Nurburgring race track in Germany and on some of the surrounding roads.

Yeah, I know... Even if i had between a Cayenne S, a Panamera GTS or a Cayman, I'll choose the Cayman in 2 seconds (I'm a big Cayman enthusiast x) ). Because THEY'RE the shit! The Five-seaters are very good but they're not awesome. I don't think that Porsche should just throw them away, however, the lights should be on what created the fame of Porsche, coupes and convertibles.

I didn't mean they were shitty literally, but they really need to stick to their roots instead of making dumb family vehicles that actually look better than their sports cars, it just makes me mad.

I do not agree. They did that for ONE reason: getting more money... Is that normal that a car make want money? Totally.

Also, if you hate the new models, like the Cayenne, the Macan or the Panamera... Well don't mind them... I mean, you can hate them, but don't say they're shitty or "gay". These cars are actually very good! (However, I admit that the coupes and the convertibles are much more awesome)

they need to fit this car with the new powerfull 3,8L 400 bhp engine from the new 911.. The chassis can handle more power and make the cayman with its mid engine a therious threat to competitors

You are right get back to the basics why Porsche's were made in the first place. They need a sports car in the mid 30K to low 40K range.

I swear Porsche has lost their minds, they make the cayenne and the panamera look super nice, but they saved the Boxster and Cayman for last. They make sports cars, not nice looking soccer mom vehicles, they need to worry more about the cayman and the Boxster, than about their gay shitty family models.

Side windows look longer in profile view, making the car look even sleeker and more proportioned when taking the hips into account.

Yeah, which makes it look more like a 911, prefer the quick drop myself. All I really care about though is whether it has a 3.8 ... (if it is indeed a Cayman and not the new 911).
