Second part of Nicholas' interview about "Dragon Tiger Gate" movie. Here is the transcript of English translation:
[black screen: About working with Dong Jie]
I have known her for 10 years. No, should be 8 years. We were just nodding acquaintances. I first met her 8 years ago. When we met again this time, at first I didn't recognize her with whom I worked 8 years ago.. Back then our project was chaotic and in a rush. She is a calm and easy-going girl, very professional and friendly. I can't say much as I don't know her that well.
[Black screen: The most unforgettable scene]
It is my first kick, against a stunt man. Just a simple back kick. He ran towards me and I did the back kick. If it were just a cigarette or a coin I could back kick and hit it precisely.
[close-up] But when he ran for my then back kick Donnie shouted out, "Cut. Not enough power! ..Not like this. You have to kick him really hard." I responded, "He will get fainted."
[camera moves back] In a fighting scene I'd rather be the one being hit than hitting others. I feel bad in hitting others. This is how I feel. When the 13th take was shot.. it was in fact the 4th take and his neck got swollen, and then Donnie called it a day. "No more shooting. Let's stop." That was my first shot on kick fight, and someone called it a day. I couldn't sleep that night. I did my kick but others wanted to call the day off.
The same shot with the same stuntman ran towards me for my kick. Just before kicking him, I stopped. I went up to Donnie and asked
What do you want me to do? You really want me to hit him right? He will faint, get deaf or blind. Awful things may happen. He replied, If the shot comes out perfect, it is you who take the credit. Let the world knows Hong Kong action films are not second to any. Hong Kong action film has been forgotten for the last couple of years. Only Thai boxing and western films remain. Hong Kong actioners have lost its limelight. So have we.
Then another stuntman came and spoke to me. You kick him 10 times, he gets hurt 10 times. You kick him real hard once, he only gets hurt once. Just do it, Nick.

In fact, if you don't move your standing leg, the other leg can only stretches out a leg's length, not any further, can't go beyond this distance. In the end, at the moment when that guy reached me my leg stretched for a half inch more. My stance was wider and the leg stretched a bit longer. My leg kicked right at his neck. Supposed to be at his face, but then landed at his neck. The first sound I heard right after my kick was a "hee" from his windpipe. Then came the bone-cracking sound. I had to finish the pose with a right up stance, but I felt real bad deep in my heart. Before completing the stance, I'd already heard from Donnie "Cut! Perfect! This is exactly what I want on your kicking"
[camera moves back again]
This is the most unforgettable scene. May be because Donnie gave me the gesture of off work that night. [laugh]
[Black screen: Any expectations for DTG?]
Over these months, I've been telling everybody Impression has it that Nicholas made many action films before. It is not true -- not until this one. They have action scenes but they are not action films. In previous films I had stunts, jumped from the 28th floor, 19 takes, rolled down from the roof of the Convention Center for so many times, climbed out from a big fire, but they are just stunt, not action. And the attraction is not on fighting. But this time the plot is on real kungfu, the Real Hong Kong action. I actually have high expectations. I never have such high expectations for any film before.
[black screen: Dragon, Tiger and Turbo invite you to the film DTG]
Whether you have ever read the comic book or not ....If yes, the nostalgic affection alone justifies your support. Just like as fans of Brazil, Holland or Ukraine. You sure watch their matches
[close up]
Secondly, I dare to say this time around Hong Kong action film is still the best. Hong Kong people are the forerunners in action films.
[camera moves back]
So please support us. Thirdly.. actually in my mind action is you don't watch just the action but the reactions. Ouch! It's so painful! The power of this film gives me this feeling. Don't worry if action film is not your cup of tea. Like what I said before, there are other things like brotherly love, romances. Keep it short. See you all on 28 July."
Thanks so much for uploading AND TRANSLATING - it must have been alot of work. :)

Thank you, ivygh, but I don't really deserve the credits for the translation part. The only work I have done is to split his interview in two parts, because it was too long, and to transcript (re-write) the already existing English translation, originally found in the dvd. For some reason Nero couldn't recognise the English subtitles and put it together with the clip.
Now. You just reminded me to finish the transcript of the Part I, which is the longer one. ^^
