Did BMW explore ondemand electrolysis of hydrogen, instead of storing the hydrogen in a tank? Hydrogen is very sensitive to electrostatic charge from lightening storms. What were the test results of the storage tank when exposed to electrostatic discharge?
It's good that you have looked into this further, however the blog you describe was a technology blog and not a specialist energy or car blog. I really recommend you look further into innovations of renewable energy and car manufacturers. You will find that most manufacturers are working on both technologies, there is no legislation saying that you can only have one type of fuel. There are advantages and disadvantages of both.
@davepamn why are u asking us, ask them..
