All it is doing is getting the power that is delivered off the amplifier that is for driving the speakers. Simply hook up a 12 volt light into the hookup for say a subwoofer turn on some music and the power that is delivered for the subwoofer is now powering the 12 volt light. the easiest way to make a cheap party light works well. Used to run neons in my old car system this same way not fake really works

Why should I fake it when it's easier to make it real? It's two light bulbs connected to an amplifier. :P
And it's in sync when I play the video.

Yes, I'd really like to get som strobes and some proper sound activated lights wich reacts to more specific frequencies. This one tends to just light up and stay lit.
Problem is I'm totally newbie to this and don't even know the names for the parts. :P It will propably cost quite a bit too.
