@PersusNine actually you can run c&c for win 95 on win7 x64, with win95 compability mode. you have to do a trick involving explorer.exe though to fix certain pallete errors

@Gameguy382 The problem is that there are two versions of C&C a DOS version and a Windows 95. "Win" is short for window and indicates you're trying to install the Windows version, but that can't be done in DOS or DOSBox. If you're running a 32bit version of Windows you should be able to install it simply using Windows 95 compatibility mode. If like me you're using a 64bit version of Windows then you're basically screwed. You can either try to find a DOS copy or use a different PC.

when i was about to install this game using dosbox it said illegal command: win when i typed setup.exe what should i do?
